Really thankful for the existence of Etsy for all the hand crafters to sell their unique products, even for newbies like me! Made 3 more sales recently with my second customer and repeat order from my first! Their support means A LOT to me. I was challenged by how to ship fragile paper earrings but I managed to find the perfect box to carry the earrings safely. Hope my customer will be happy with it!
These sales really encouraged me to make more paper products and add more listings to my Etsy store. I'm working very hard on them now... Experimenting with a new type of paper material. Keep posted for further updates at my shop!
PS. Another encouraging thing is that I've made my beloved one very happy today! Love to see the big smile on his face =)

Full Blossom of Paper Earrings
These paper earrings are perfect for brides! |
What do you think of my shop? I really hope things will get better with it, since I'm so much in love with paper gifts and weddings, I hope eventually I can put all my efforts in paper gifts and even... wedding planning!
Okay, so much for now. If you are a lucky girl who has found your Mr Right or you know a bride-to-be, please see if the paper flower earrings match your event! =]
Love, Jann

Yo Mama
When girls are under great pressure we tend to eat something of high
calorie and low nutrition. This time I've found my new favourite - yo
mama!

Yoghurt is not perfect without granola!
Met Fry in Town!
Met Stephen Fry bhere in Hong Kong for an event I organised at the
Hong Kong Book Fair! I didn't know much about him before, except he's
got the most followers on Twitter in the UK.

So glad to see him in real person, he was such a gentleman with the
characteristic English humour.

The Envelope Project
This project is totally awesome, especially when it's all about my favourite stationery item: ENVELOPES!
Send an envelope full of crafty bits & pieces to Pip from Meet Me At Mikes, where your artwork will be showcased in a window display. A lucky winner among the participants will be drawn and Pip will send ALL the content to this winner!
I will post pictures of my envelope soon. For now, I think I need to get some sleep...

Big Challenge Ahead
Running an etsy store is really a huge challenge for me, especially I'm working full-time... and don't have superb photography skills! I remember last time I asked for my boyfriend's help (he's a photography-lover) and we had so much sweat... just for taking product shots! =)
Now I will focus on creating and creating more items first, as you may have noticed from my shop, I'm a newstarter. Guess I'll have to leave the product shooting to my boyfriend on a Saturday afternoon when we've both got time (and sunshine!).

From Dream to Reality
So, this is my first post on my blog for Jann Paper. I'm so excited! Considering the many handcrafters out there and on the web, I'm a total late starter... However, my love for paper gifts has been with me since I was a little girl and it didn't go away. Now this passion has grown so strongly I must do something about it!
Here I am, with my newly started shop on etsy and a new blog to keep all my thoughts about paper gifts. I hope you'd enjoy this blog as much as I do!
Below is just a peep of my creation:
